We had a lovely stay at Cavalier Cottage with our two pups. The cottage is cozy, clean and adorable. Patricia was very welcoming and accommodating. We came here to ski and Berkshire East is just a few miles away. We also found some great hiking spots for the dogs and had fun exploring Shelburne Falls.

Perfect place for a little get away. Patricia was there to greet us when we arrived. The place looks just like the pictures. And her fresh biscuits every morning are delicious!

This is a perfect place to stay if you are traveling with pets! Patricia was very welcoming, especially to our cat and dog it’s such a relief to be somewhere where they are not considered a bother or hassle. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any utensil you may need to cook. Just be sure to bring all ingredients you might need outside of salt and pepper. The location is a little remote but we were still able to safely navigate the roads during snowy weather, and once the clouds cleared, the view of the stars at night was worth it.Thank you so much for a welcoming us! Patricia’s cottage is warm and welcoming. Our two dogs loved the place and felt right at home. Since there are dogs that stay frequently at the cottage, Patricia does an amazing job of keeping it clean. You would never know that so many dogs stay there. Thank you!

Our stay at the Cavalier Bed and Breakfast exceeded expectations. Patricia is so welcoming, provides delicious scones each morning, and was more than accommodating with our dog. Her home was quiet and relaxing, and provided a perfect getaway. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay and were able to stay an extra day. Patricia is friendly, pleasant and quickly responds to requests. She also makes and delivers delicious scones and OJ every a.m. Everything, such as linens, coffee, kitchen equipment etc. is provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very quiet surroundings and nice walks up the road with our dog with snowflakes falling around us…just beautiful. I highly recommend Cavalier Cottage

Patricia was a very accommodating host. She was there to meet us and say goo-bye. She temporarily loaned us a windshield scraper on the last morning. The unit was clean, decorated very nicely, and had all we needed. The kitchen had all essentials (including coffee, tea, cereals, butter, milk), which travelers might not carry. The daily muffins and OJ were appreciated. The location might not be urban enough for everyone, but we liked it. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Everything was as advertised and very comfortable. Patricia met me personally for both the check in and check out and the scones were delicious. Thank you!

What a lovely relaxing home base for our western Mass. explorations. Patricia warmly welcomed us and our pup and provided everything we could need, and her morning scones were such a treat. The location is stunning—our morning walks were the perfect way to start our days in the car. Hope we can do it again one day.

The Cavalier Cottage was quiet, private, and very comfortable. I stayed almost 3 weeks, and really appreciated the full kitchen with all the equipment I needed. I was busy all day, so it was great to be able to relax in comfort at the end of the day and cook a nice meal. Bed and couch were very comfortable! Close enough to town and shopping to be convenient yet out of the way. I would stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Patricia’s home over New Years Eve. Her freshly baked morning scones and OJ were delicious and thoughtful and we loved our cozy home away from home. Having cable TV was great and the snowy road was perfect for walking our dog.  I would recommend this space to anyone who needs a nice quiet getaway for their dog!

Patricia’s cottage was the perfect place for our winter country getaway. Very cozy, well decorated and furnished, and the perfect amount of space for me and my girlfriend. We loved the blue & white theme throughout, from rugs and blankets to tablecloth and kitchenware. The kitchen was well equipped for dining in. There was tea and coffee to keep us extra warm. We played classical music while eating and cooking. Excellent, friendly hospitality from such a wonderful host! Patricia had fresh English scones and orange juice ready for us every morning. Great bathroom shower. Flexible check-in. Quick, easy communication. And best of all, pet friendly! So we could bring our 14-year-old Chihuahua and keep the family together! Patricia has dogs of her own and keeps a website with photos of all her furry, four-legged guests! Such fond memories! Look forward to staying here again!
