It was a great pleasure for me to host two wonderful labs, 12 year old Newman, and 11 year old Emma Lou, a therapy dog. Newman had come specifically to be measured for a custom made dog wheelchair at Eddie’s Wheels in Shelburne Falls, just a few minutes away from the Cavalier Cottage. What wonderful 4-leggeds…gentle, affectionate, oh so well-behaved, and just a delight to be around. Their guardian Dave, is devoted to their well-being and an overall major animal-lover and it was great to talk with him.
Newman will be getting his new wheelchair in a couple of weeks and we’ll be posting a video of him with his new wheels and regained mobility. In the meantime, you can see their photo by clicking here.
We hope they’ll come back again and spend a few days at the Cottage.
